Gesture Scoring for Musical Theatre - The world in between blocking and choreography!

Directing a musical? Didn't realise that song needed some movement? Your choreographer is overworked (or not very experienced.. or very good... or nonexistant!)? Are you out of time and need some quick, fun solutions for organised movement? Not very confident with movement or dance?

The Answer? Gesture Scoring! Gesture Scoring is not quite blocking and not quite choreography - a little of both and neither as well! What to do with a ballad in a musical or Opera,  What to do with organising a group number that needs some organised movement but isn't really dance, the epic duet or solo that needs some depth but not dance, etc.

This fun, experiential workshop will get you moving, collaborating and creating gesture score for some classic solo, duet,  and small group musical theatre favorites.

To Bring/Important Notes
